Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intensive Care Unit position requiring CVICU and open heart recovery experience along with an active KY or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a CVICU/Intensive Care Unit hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12s (7p-7a), 3 days per week
• Weekends and holidays required as needed
• 0.9 FTE

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred
• CVICU experience and experience recovering open heart patients required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Last 4 of SSN and MM/DD of DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver direct patient care including comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and care coordination
• Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities with patient and family-centered education
• Collaborate with interprofessional care team members and delegate tasks appropriately
• Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility, with local candidates accepted at a lower rate
