Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team in a high-acuity, fast-paced health setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing hemodynamically unstable patients and be comfortable working in a collaborative environment. This role involves working with medical ICU patients with a range of diagnoses, including respiratory failure, renal failure, sepsis, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide critical care to patients with severe and life-threatening conditions.
  • Manage ventilator support and a variety of bedside procedures.
  • Monitor and manage invasive lines and vasoactive medications.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current RN license
  • 2 years of ICU RN experience
  • Certifications: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS
  • Skills: Trach care, chest tube management, PIV starts, management of vasoactive medications, etc.

Preferred:

  • CCRN (critical care nursing certification)
