Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU Float Pool – Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Mission Viejo, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 13-week assignment. Patient ratio 1:2. Weekend coverage required minimum every other weekend, may exceed to meet unit needs. Must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays.

Requirements:

  • Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
  • Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
  • Proficiency in Epic charting system required
  • Strong critical care skills including ventilator management, central line care, arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, and blood product administration
  • Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
  • Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
