Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU Float Pool – Mission Viejo, CA 92691

Start Date: November 3, 2026

Location: Mission Viejo, California

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30), 13-week assignment. Patient ratios of 1:2. Weekend coverage required minimum every other weekend, with potential for additional weekends to meet unit needs. Must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays.

• Float pool position serving ICU units including CICU and SICU in a 488-bed acute care hospital
• May float to different ICU floors or lower acuity units including telemetry up to 100% of shifts
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more

• 24-40 hours of orientation to support successful onboarding
• Opportunity to work with diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics across multiple critical care settings

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Flexibility to float between sister facilities and within scope to meet facility needs
