Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a day shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and at least 1 year of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or active compact state license in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, in hand at time of consideration, no pending certifications accepted
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year combined ICU experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the ICU specialty required; co-worker references not accepted

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• PBDS assessment is waived
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Any background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases are not accepted
• Professional license hits are not accepted
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
