Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position requiring 18 months of recent SICU experience and a permanent Ohio or compact RN license in hand.

Details

• Work in the Surgical ICU (SICU) unit of a hospital environment
• Rotating day/night shifts on a 3x12 schedule (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30)
• Shifts may be adjusted to meet the operational needs of the hospital
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty required, preferably within one location
• 18 months of recent SICU experience required (travel experience accepted)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required, with medical/religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with an acceptable score required, with a maximum of two attempts allowed
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Background check hits are reviewed by the facility, but open cases will not be accepted
• No hits on professional license will be accepted
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
