Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU (SICU) position requiring at least one year of recent ICU experience and current NIH Stroke Certification.

Details

• Work in the Surgical ICU (ICU-Surg) department of a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Active RN license (Louisiana or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted, must not expire within first 30 days of start)
• Current NIH Stroke Certification required for ICU placement
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in SICU or related specialty
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to surgical ICU patients
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
