- Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,620 - $1,700
- Setting: High-acuity mixed ICU with cardiovascular and neuro patient care
- Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 3 years of RN experience, including at least 1 year in an ICU setting
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Experience with Meditech preferred
- Ability to care for 1-3 ICU patients and manage ventilated patients
- Strong telemetry interpretation and critical care assessment skills
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
- BSN preferred
- TNCC and advanced certifications preferred
- Comfort with bedside shift report and a collaborative team-based workflow
Responsibilities
- Provide expert bedside care for critically ill ICU patients with varying levels of acuity
- Monitor and manage patients on ventilators and advanced cardiac support devices
- Care for post-op CABG patients, Impellas, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz lines, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring cases
- Support neuro ICU patients, including those with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, EVDs, bolts, and induced hypothermia therapy
- Perform bedside shift report during every handoff to support safe, seamless transitions of care
- Administer breathing treatments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support respiratory needs
- Float as needed to support ICU or step-down level patients based on facility needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit protocols and patient safety standards
- Contribute to a supportive, high-performing critical care team focused on excellent patient outcomes
