**Join Our Dynamic ICU Team!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to make a significant impact in patient care? - Join a prestigious hospital in the heart of San Antonio, serving the community for over 50 years! - Become part of a team that values patient-focused care and compassionate service. **Position Details:** - **Unit:** MICU (4C) - **Classification:** RN-MICU - **Shift:** - 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A - Weekend: Every Other - Call Requirements: No - Guaranteed Hours: 36 **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver exceptional care to critically ill patients in the MICU. - Utilize strong critical thinking skills to assess patient needs and implement care plans. - Be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team. **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 2-3 years of ICU experience. - Active TX RN License (TEMP LICENSE NOT ACCEPTED). - ACLS and BLS certifications. - NIH Stroke Certification. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Background in MICU & MSICU. - Exposure to IABP and CRRT. - Experience with Meditech documentation. **Essential Skills:** - Proficiency in procedures such as: - Chest tubes and tracheostomies - Intubations and central lines - NG tubes, Foley catheters, dressing changes **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Navy scrub top and pant with navy or white scrub jacket. - Maintain clean and healthy nails. - Neat, trimmed hair; no extreme styles or colors. - Body art should be covered whenever possible. - Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited. **Unit Guidelines:** - Mandatory badging in and out for shifts. - Take a full 30-minute lunch break. - Punctuality is crucial; clock in by 6:38 am/pm (after 6:45 is considered tardy). **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
