Job Requirements

• Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification or equivalent NIH competency required
• Experience with vasopressors in an ICU or acute care setting
• Meditech experience preferred
• Strong attendance, reliability, and teamwork skills expected

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to ICU patients in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Monitor patient status, assess changes quickly, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
• Administer medications and therapies, including vasopressor support as indicated
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary team members to deliver high-quality patient care
• Accurately document patient care, treatment plans, and interventions in the electronic health record
• Float to appropriate units as needed and support patient care across the hospital
• Follow unit policies, attendance expectations, and professional appearance standards
