Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU Days position requiring an active NY RN license, EPIC EMR experience, and 2 years of recent ICU experience.
Details
- Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule
- No blocked scheduling permitted
- Uses EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- AHA or RQI certifications required
- 2 years of recent ICU or Neuro ICU/SICU experience required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- US Social Security Number required
- Medical exemption from a licensed professional required for flu vaccine exemption; personal or religious declinations not accepted
- Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to surgical and neuroscience ICU patients
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
- More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with any required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
- RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
