Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN Location: Local. This position involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit. The role requires delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational standards and professional nursing practices.
Job Details
- Position Description: This role assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history, physicals, diagnostics, and laboratory data, reporting abnormal results to physicians and other caregivers. Formulates and revises care plans based on assessment data and patient needs, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Implements care through direct patient interactions, delegation, and supervision, in adherence to policies and standards. Documents all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
- Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and experience in an acute care hospital setting within the past 12 months.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification is advantageous.
- Schedule: Work shifts are Days, 12 hours total, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The RN will participate in research activities, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and assist with staff supervision and education as needed. They will also interact closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure exemplary care delivery.
- Submission Requirements: Candidates must meet the above qualifications and be available to start on 11/16/2026, with employment ending on 02/13/2027.
