Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular at the Glendale location will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. This role demands the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, utilizing specialized knowledge and clinical judgment to meet the physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs of patients in a demanding acute care environment.
Job Details:
- Location: Glendale, Arizona
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours shift time, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice or an appropriate compact license; BLS certification is required; experience in an acute care hospital setting for at least 1 year within the past 12 months in an ICU or CVU environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing; professional certification in critical care or cardiovascular specialty.
- Additional Information: The role involves assessing patient health status, formulating and implementing individualized care plans, delegating and supervising clinical activities, evaluating patient responses, and documenting care in accordance with policy and regulatory standards. The position may require clinical research participation and leadership responsibilities such as staff supervision and unit coordination. Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, families, and external contacts is essential to ensure seamless care delivery and positive patient outcomes.
