Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity critical care environment
• Strong clinical skills with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Comfort with bedside procedures and complex ICU patient management

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a Medical-Surgical ICU
• Monitor and manage patients with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Administer medications, titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, and support ventilated patients
• Perform comprehensive assessments and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, phlebotomy, radiology, and rapid response teams
• Support patients requiring advanced monitoring and specialized equipment, including CRRT
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
• Promote safe, high-quality care while following unit protocols and infection prevention standards
• Float as needed based on scheduling and unit demands
