• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Float Requirements: ICU, IMC, and Telemetry as needed
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing or critical care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• PALS and TNCC preferred
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Strong skills in ventilator management, central line care, IV therapy, and dysrhythmia interpretation

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to critically ill trauma patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in a 1:2 nurse-to-patient assignment
• Manage ventilated patients and support BiPAP/CPAP therapy as needed
• Administer blood products and maintain central lines, IV access, and invasive monitoring equipment
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic
• Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units based on staffing needs
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to support the best possible patient outcomes
