Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN Float for Boston-area communities, requiring active MA RN licensure and prior certified home care and case management experience.

Details

Home health setting covering Boston neighborhoods including Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Cambridge, Charlestown, and surrounding areas
13-week assignment with a schedule of 08:00-16:30
Weekend rotation required approximately once every 6 weeks
Ability to travel to patient homes as assigned
Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
AHA-issued BLS/certifications required
Minimum 1 year of Certified Home Care experience required
Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience required
Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and provide ongoing education and support to patients and families
Perform admission processes and case management duties in accordance with home care policies and standards
Maintain thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication
Start date contingent on credentialing clearance; delayed clearance may result in a rescheduled start date
Local candidates permitted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
