Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a rotating day/night inpatient orthopedic/urology surgical unit requiring Level 1 trauma and prior travel experience.

Details

• 36-bed adult inpatient orthopedic/urology/surgery unit
• Patient population includes orthopedic and urologic patients who are post-surgical and pre-surgical from the ED, front door, or clinical admissions
• 13-week assignment with day/night rotating shifts, 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
• BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years of Level 1 trauma experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

• Care for post-surgical and pre-surgical orthopedic and urologic patients
• Local candidates accepted with permanent residence within 60 miles of Boston, subject to a reduced rate
• Two professional references required for consideration
