Travel ER RN – Level II Trauma
Specialty: Emergency Room RN
Contract: 13 weeks
Shifts: 12-hour shifts with varied start times
Weekends: Every other weekend
Holidays: Every other holiday
Trauma Level: II
️ ER Capacity: 21 beds/trauma bays
Requirements
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- Profile review + manager interview
- Previous travel experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
- RN must be comfortable with varied ED patient populations and acuities
ER Highlights
- 50–60 patients/day
- Typical ratios 1:3–4, occasionally 1:5
- Adult & pediatric patients, trauma, stroke, STEMI, SOB, abdominal pain, etc.
- Experience with critical-care drips such as vasopressors, heparin and antiarrhythmics
- RN must read/interpret telemetry strips
- 1–2 shifts of department-specific orientation
- Any-color scrubs
- Rare floating/tasking based on census and staffing
