We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel opportunity in a Level II/III trauma environment. • Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (15:00 - 03:00)
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Unit: Emergency Department
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Setting: Busy emergency department with approximately 200 daily visits and 42 beds

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience
• Previous travel nurse experience required
• Experience in an ER of similar size and acuity preferred
• Level II or III trauma experience strongly preferred
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible before start date
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency setting

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Perform triage, patient assessments, and rapid clinical interventions
• Care for patients presenting with trauma, respiratory distress, chest pain, infections, psychiatric concerns, and other emergency conditions
• Administer medications, initiate IVs, manage monitoring, and support emergency procedures
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, and unit support staff
• Support trauma and critical situations with confidence and attention to detail
• Document thoroughly and accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Promote safe, compassionate, patient-centered care in every shift
