Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state before the start date
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience in a comparable setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required; willingness to obtain if offered may be considered
• Ability to provide care for adult, pediatric, adolescent, neonatal, and geriatric emergency patients
• Experience with Level II or Level III trauma preferred
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department
• Flu vaccination required, with medical or religious exemptions allowed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Triage patients and prioritize care in a busy, high-acuity ED environment
• Perform critical interventions such as IV starts, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring
• Support patients experiencing trauma, respiratory distress, overdose, stroke, psychiatric emergencies, and other acute conditions
• Assist with emergency procedures including intubation support, chest tube management, procedural sedation monitoring, and splinting
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, and unit support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner and communicate effectively with the care team
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic emergency nursing setting
