• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Setting: Emergency Department with 42 beds and an average daily census of 200
• Charting System: Cerner preferred
• Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with the ability to start on time
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience in a similarly sized setting
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• Experience with Level II or Level III trauma care
• Strong comfort level caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt quickly in a high-acuity emergency department environment
• Cerner experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
• Perform triage, rapid assessment, and prioritization of patient needs in a busy ER setting
• Support care for trauma, respiratory, cardiac, neurological, and behavioral health emergencies
• Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and assist with emergency procedures as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary partners including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and unit support staff
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold departmental standards and patient safety practices
• Provide patient-centered care while helping create a calm, efficient emergency department experience
