Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Everett, WA 98201
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Everett, Washington
Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (16:30 - 05:00). Weekend coverage required. Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period. Float requirements may apply to sister facilities in the area.
Highlights:
- Level II adult trauma center and Level III pediatric trauma center with comprehensive stroke and STEMI services
- High-volume emergency department with 220 visits per day and 79 treatment rooms serving all patient age groups
- Diverse patient population ranging from low to high acuity including trauma, stroke, STEMI, critically ill patients, and behavioral health
- Primary stroke receiving center and thrombectomy center accepting transfers
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
- Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided
Requirements:
- Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
- Level II trauma center experience preferred
- Proficiency in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV sedation, vasopressor management, and triage
- Experience with stroke and STEMI certified facilities preferred
- Must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years required
