Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Emergency Department – Everett, WA 98201

Start Date: October 26, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: 3x12-hour evening shifts (2:30 PM - 3:00 AM), 60 guaranteed hours per two-week period. Weekend coverage required. Float to nearby sister facilities as needed.

Highlights:

  • Level II adult trauma center and Level III pediatric trauma center with 571 total staffed beds
  • Primary stroke receiving center, thrombectomy center, and STEMI receiving center
  • Large emergency department with 79 beds and approximately 220 visits per day
  • Full-spectrum patient population from low to high acuity including stroke, STEMI, trauma, critically ill, behavioral health, and acute care boarding
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
  • Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

  • Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department nursing experience required
  • Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC or PALS
  • Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
  • Proficiency in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, IV sedation, vasopressor management, dysrhythmia interpretation, procedural sedation, triage, and behavioral health de-escalation
  • Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Local candidates within 50-mile radius not accepted
