This 13-week travel RN assignment is ideal for an experienced Emergency Department nurse who is confident in trauma care, rapid assessment, and managing a broad range of patient needs. You’ll work 12-hour night shifts in a busy emergency department with opportunities to care for adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.

- Unit Size: 36 rooms / 36 beds
- Charting System: Epic
- Patient Population: Neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred/required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Level I Trauma experience strongly preferred
- Ability to care for a high-acuity patient population in a fast-paced emergency department
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses and acuity levels
- Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of patient needs in a high-volume ER
- Stabilize and monitor trauma, medical, and pediatric patients in a Level I Trauma setting
- Manage dysrhythmias, IV therapy, blood products, and ventilated patients as needed
- Support trauma interventions including arterial line management, central line care, and procedural sedation monitoring
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapy, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and other support teams
- Provide compassionate, efficient care while helping maintain a safe and organized emergency department workflow
