Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN with a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and 1 year of travel experience for a night shift position in an Onc Pod Emergency Department.

Details

• Onc Pod Emergency Department setting within a cancer hospital
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Floating required
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• EPIC EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor; second reference may be from a Charge RN; no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care including triage, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, 12-lead EKG/ECG, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Pediatric emergency care experience utilized in a combined adult/pediatric ED setting
• RTO must be submitted at time of application and built into the contract, limited to 7 consecutive days or less
• Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance deadlines
• Former employees eligible for travel assignment after 6+ months away from the facility
• Current employees are ineligible for travel assignments at this facility
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
