Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for Maryland practice at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• At least 1 completed travel nurse assignment required
• Recent experience caring for adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Cerner experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency department setting
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care to patients across the lifespan
• Perform rapid assessments, triage patients, and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as indicated
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support care for a wide range of emergency presentations, including medical, trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neuro, and behavioral health cases
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document accurately and thoroughly in Cerner
• Promote a positive patient experience through clear communication and professional care
