Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent emergency nursing experience
• At least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Recent experience working with patient ratios of 1:4-6 preferred
• Cerner charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Strong Emergency Department skills across adult and pediatric populations
• Comfort working nights, weekends, and in a high-acuity environment
• Ability to complete pre-start compliance requirements and orientation modules on time

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in a fast-moving Emergency Room environment
• Respond to a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions, including trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and behavioral health cases
• Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and assist with emergency interventions as needed
• Support procedures such as intubation, chest tube management, blood product administration, and procedural sedation monitoring when appropriate
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, phlebotomy, and other interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner
• Maintain a calm, professional presence while caring for a diverse and high-volume patient population
• Follow facility protocols, patient safety standards, and infection prevention practices
