• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,660 - $1,750
• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license in hand
• Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience
• Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric patients required
• Experience managing a patient ratio of 1:4
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• Strong experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, triage, and emergency interventions
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Ability to float within service line/scope of practice as needed
• Comfort working in a rural hospital environment
• First-time travelers are welcome

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care for patients of all ages presenting to the Emergency Department
• Assess, stabilize, and treat patients with conditions such as chest pain, stroke symptoms, trauma, sepsis, respiratory distress, fractures, and behavioral health concerns
• Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and assist with blood product administration
• Monitor and manage patients requiring CPAP/BiPAP, continuous IV sedation, vasopressors, or procedural sedation
• Support trauma, neuro, and stroke-related emergencies with strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Perform triage and collaborate with the care team to prioritize patient needs effectively
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic
• Work collaboratively with physicians, charge nurses, triage staff, and interdisciplinary support teams
• Float as needed within the service line and adapt to changing clinical needs
