Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent ER nursing experience required
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC preferred
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required
• Ability to complete required pre-start compliance items and orientation assessments
• Experience in a fast-paced emergency care or acute care environment strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Perform thorough patient assessments and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and clinical standards
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to support timely, effective patient care
• Prioritize care in a high-acuity, high-volume emergency room environment
• Document patient care accurately and maintain strong clinical communication throughout the shift
• Support a patient-centered culture focused on quality, safety, and teamwork
