Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or a compact state license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of combined permanent experience in the Emergency Room (ER) specialty
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications in hand at the time of submission
• TNCC preferred
• One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the ER specialty from the past 12 months
• Ability to work rotating day/mid coverage and adapt to a fast-paced emergency care environment
• Completion of all required onboarding and compliance steps prior to start

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with varying levels of acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established ER protocols
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and collaborate with the healthcare team to support timely clinical decision-making
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Support safe, efficient patient flow in a busy emergency care setting
• Deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining professionalism, focus, and attention to detail
