Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications in hand.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• Day/mid shift rotation, 3x12 hour shifts including 7a-7p and 10a-10p
• 13-week assignment length
• Holiday coverage required for every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required in hand; TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1 year combined permanent experience in the ER specialty required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked in the past 12 months; coworker references not accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Background check must not include any open cases; no license hits accepted

Additional Information

• Provide emergency department nursing care across a range of acute and emergent patient presentations
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation, with a maximum of 2 attempts to pass
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nurses are exempt from the nicotine-free facility requirement
• All RTO must be discussed during the interview process
• Travel experience not required, but first-time travelers should confirm eligibility with recruiter
