- Position Description: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse responsible for delivering acute care services to a diverse patient population, including correctional patients, with a focus on stabilization and transfer. The department features 18 beds, fast track staffing with midlevel practitioners and licensed vocational nurses, and a patient volume of approximately 85-115 patients daily.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) required.
- Education Requirements: No specific degree requirement listed.
- Location Requirements: Candidates must be licensed to practice and able to submit a license for verification.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts; 12-hour shifts with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shifts are for 4 weeks with required open availability; PRN schedules are not accommodated.
