Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse - Location only: The organization is seeking an ER Nurse to provide acute care for a diverse patient population. This role involves managing variable diagnoses and working within a fast-paced emergency department environment, with a focus on trauma, STEMI, strokes, and other critical cases.

Job Details

  • Certifications Required: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
  • Education and Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience; license to submit required; location-specific license required.
  • Schedule: 12-hour shifts with start times at 10 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Responsibilities include providing emergency care, managing variable patient diagnoses, operating monitors, assisting with x-ray and CT procedures, and drawing labs.
  • Additional clinical duties include ABG analysis, breathing treatments, EKG interpretation, and patient triage.
  • The ER treats an average of 40-60 patients daily, with varying patient acuities including trauma, STEMI, strokes, and other urgent conditions.
  • Staff will work in a facility with a Level 4 trauma designation, designated trauma bays, and a fast track area.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Submission requirement: Candidates must note if they have previously worked for the organization, with end date at least 6 months prior to submission.
