Job Details

  • Position Description: Emergency Department RN with a schedule of 36 or 48 hours per week, working rotating shifts that include days, evenings, and nights.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license/certification in nursing, AHA Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), at least 2 years of emergency nursing experience, and general ED nursing skills including assessment, documentation, IV, phlebotomy, EKG, cardiac monitoring, point of care testing, splinting, critical thinking, and patient education.
  • Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Preferred Qualifications: NRP and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications are strongly preferred.
  • Additional Information: Floating may be required to the ED Observation wing (16 beds) and the Adult Medical Unit (AMU). Rotations are infrequent but may be requested for day shifts when scheduled.
