Job Details

• Shift: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift

• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Emergency Room / Emergency Department experience; active Iowa (IA) license or multistate license; EPIC electronic medical record experience; valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and NIH Stroke Scale certification (can be obtained during onboarding); TNCC / trauma nursing core competency certificate; de-escalation certification preferred; drivers license required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Active PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale certificates; experience with CPI, MOAB, MAB, SAMA; prior travel ER experience within the previous 18 months.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to float between ED locations; holiday work may be required during Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day; must have skills checklist specific to Emergency Room nursing; proficiency in EPIC EMR preferred; applicable certifications and licenses must be active and verifiable at the time of submission; references from within 24 months recommended.
