Role Focus

This is an Emergency Department RN position in a Freestanding ED, so the candidate should have strong ED/emergency nursing experience.

• Emergency Department / ER experience
• Triage and rapid patient assessment
• Emergency interventions and stabilization
• IV medications and treatments
• Telemetry/cardiac monitoring
• Managing high-acuity patients
• Strong critical-thinking skills
• Experience with trauma and emergency situations

Important-The facility is part of HCA Florida Ocala Hospital, which has extensive emergency, trauma, stroke, cardiac, and critical-care services. The actual assignment, however, is specifically FSED, not a standard inpatient unit.
