As a Travel RN in the Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care. The unit typically operates with a patient ratio of 4:1, with the potential for up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals, including techs and unit clerks, in a fast-paced setting equipped with advanced technology such as Baxter pumps and GE monitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using the Cerner system.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including attendance and floating policies.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ER setting.
• Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume ED (>100,000 visits).
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC before date of hire.
• Teamwork mentality and flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.
