As a Travel RN in the Emergency Department, you will be part of a dynamic team in a high-volume setting, serving a diverse community. This facility is the region's referral center for the only Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, and Level III neonatal intensive care unit. You will have the opportunity to work in a department known for its teamwork and welcoming personalities, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: 101
• Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically; up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
• Type of Equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
• Documentation System: Cerner

Scheduling Requirements: Every other weekend; cannot commit to block scheduling; scheduling must meet the needs of the department. Must be open to floating to all sections within the ED.

Required Certifications:

• ACLS before submitting to role
• BLS before submitting to role
• PALS before submitting to role
• TNCC before submitting to role
• CPI before Date of Hire
• NIHSS before submitting to role
• ENPC before submitting to role

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set:

• 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED
• At least 1 year of experience in an ER setting
• Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide feedback in real time
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED
