Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of recent emergency room or emergency department experience required
• Experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ER preferred
• Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to coach and give real-time feedback
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS required before start
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients in a busy emergency department
• Support efficient patient flow in a high-acuity emergency room environment
• Care for a diverse patient population, including behavioral holds and stroke-related cases
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver coordinated, timely treatment
• Maintain strong communication and patient experience standards throughout each visit
• Float to all sections within the emergency department as needed
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming unit culture built on teamwork and respect
