• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 - $1,730
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend required; scheduling is based on departmental needs
• Floating: No floating outside of the ED; flexibility to support all areas within the department is expected

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and the ability to work in an emergency care setting
• At least 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in an Emergency Department or Emergency Room
• Experience in a high-volume ED, Level II trauma center, or comprehensive stroke center preferred
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS required before start
• ENPC required within 90 days of hire
• Strong teamwork mentality and the ability to coach and receive feedback in real time
• Comfort working across all sections of the ED with flexibility and adaptability
• Previous experience with Cerner documentation systems is helpful

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
• Perform timely assessments, interventions, and reassessments in a fast-moving environment
• Support triage, patient flow, and safe care delivery across all areas of the Emergency Department
• Collaborate closely with physicians, techs, clerks, and the rest of the care team
• Monitor patients using available equipment and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Promote a positive patient experience through respectful communication and professional conduct
• Help create a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere in a busy emergency department
