Facility: Central Carolina Hospital
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12H Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week
Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
Weekend: Every other weekend + some holidays
Call: None
Openings: 1

Facility Details:

137-bed acute care hospital
Joint Commission Accredited Primary Stroke Center
Level 2 Nursery
ED: 21 beds
12 telemetry beds, 3 behavioral health beds, 5 fast-track rooms
Patient Ratio: 1:5
EHR: Cerner
Patient Population: All ages

Requirements:

2+ years Emergency Nursing experience
ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS
De-escalation training: HWC, CPI, or MAB
ADN required
Emergency nursing, trauma & resuscitation experience
IV/IV drips, oxygen demand support, blood products, basic telemetry/EKG
Must be willing to float as needed

Preferred: Emergency Medicine / Psych ER experience

Common Diagnoses: COPD, DKA, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, neurological emergencies, stroke

Scrubs: Any color
Dress Code: No open-toed footwear, spandex pants, or sweatshirts
