Position Reason: Contractor Replacement

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, and de-escalation training (HWC, CPI, or MAB)
  • Education: ADN
  • License: RN license/eligibility to work in North Carolina
  • Required ED Skills:
    • Emergency nursing
    • Trauma care
    • Resuscitation
    • IV insertion
    • IV drips
    • Oxygen demand support
    • Blood products
    • Basic telemetry/EKG
  • Preferred: Emergency Medicine and Psych ER experience
  • Float: As needed

    • 12 telemetry beds
    • 3 behavioral health beds
    • 5 fast-track rooms
  • Patient Ratio: 1:5
  • EHR: Cerner
  • Equipment: Emergency equipment
  • Patient Population: All ages
  • Supervisor: Daniel Register, ED Nurse Manager
  • Trauma Level: N/A
