Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of recent emergency nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced ER / ED environment
• Comfort with emergency procedures, patient prioritization, and rapid response care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of varying acuity levels
• Perform common ER procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, EKGs, and Foley catheter placement
• Assist with orthopedic splinting and wound care
• Support respiratory and emergency interventions including BiPAP, ventilator-related care, and nebulizer treatments
• Collaborate closely with physicians, charge nurses, and the care team to maintain safe patient flow
• Monitor patient status, document care accurately in MEDITECH, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Deliver compassionate patient care while maintaining a calm, professional presence in a busy emergency department
