**Exciting Opportunity for 24/7 RN at Northwest FSED!** **Job Description:** - **Location:** 13725 Northwest Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78410 - **Unit Information:** - **Number of Beds:** 15 - **Staffing:** - Day Shift: 3 RNs (06:30 - 18:30), EMT-P or Nurse Extern (09:00 - 18:30) - Night Shift: 3 RNs (18:30 - 06:30), EMT-P (17:00 - 01:00) - **Patient Ratios:** 1:4 (depending on acuity) - **Equipment:** Baxter pumps, Hamilton vents, GE cardiac monitors, Stryker stretchers - **EMR:** Meditech - **Typical Hiring Profile:** - **Must Have Skills:** - Compassion, Sense of Urgency, Team Player - Rapid Identification of Sepsis, STEMI, Stroke, and Trauma - **Preferred Skills:** - Experience with Airway Management/Ventilators - Strong Critical Thinking Skills - **Typical Procedures:** - Splinting, Wound Care, IV-starts, Medication Administration - Assessments, Re-assessments, Documentation, Oversight of EMT-Ps - **Best Personality Fit:** - Compassionate Care Giver (Non-abrasive) - **Required Certifications:** - BLS, ALS, TNCC, CPI or equivalent, PALS or ENPC - **Floating Areas:** - 5 ERs; typically staffed to core—most likely no need to float - **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Royal Blue, No Hoodies - **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Must clock out for lunch breaks and any time leaving the building - Communicate to the CNC when taking breaks - **Schedule:** - Every Other Weekend - No On-call **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
