Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring TNCC certification and prior trauma, stroke, and chest pain experience.

Details

• Emergency Department setting within a hospital
• 10-room, 19-bed/chair unit with a patient ratio of 4:1
• Day shift hours from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required
• EMR system used is MEDHOST

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in the Emergency Department
• Experience with trauma, stroke, and chest pain cases required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Royal blue scrub color required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and limited to less than 1 week
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
• Travel experience preferred but first-time travelers may be considered
