Description

American Traveler is hiring an Emergency Department RN for a mids shift position requiring 2 years of ED experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Emergency Services unit with 10 rooms and 19 bed/chair capacity
• Treats trauma, stroke, and chest pain patients
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Mids shift from 2:15 PM to 3:45 AM
• No call responsibilities
• No floating required
• No 48-hour scheduling
• Uses MEDHOST EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (TX or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
• Travel experience preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Royal Blue scrub color required
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront and limited to less than 1 week
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
