**Join Our Dynamic Emergency Room Team!** **Job Description** - Location: Emergency Department, 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - Shift: BACKFILL - TRAVEL - RN - ER CARE CTR (780) 6:45PM-7:15AM **Why You'll Love This Role:** - Work in a **high-paced environment** at a leading Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. - Join a **dedicated team** known for their teamwork and welcoming personalities. - Engage with our **multicultural community**, serving patients who speak over 120 languages. **Unit Highlights:** - **Number of Beds:** 101 - **Patient Ratios:** 4:1 typically; up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds. - **Support Staff:** Technicians available for cardiac monitoring, triage, and internal processing; Unit clerks available day and night. - **Equipment:** Utilize state-of-the-art Baxter pumps and GE monitors. - **Documentation System:** Cerner **Requirements:** - **Experience:** - Minimum of 2 years as a nurse with at least 1 year in an ER setting. - Previous HCA experience preferred. - Experience in a high-volume ED (> 100,000 visits/year). - **Certifications (required prior to start):** - ACLS - BLS - PALS - TNCC - CPI - NIHSS - ENPC (within 90 days of hire) - **Skills:** - Teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give feedback in real time. - Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED. **Additional Information:** - **Dress Code:** Navy scrubs - **Floating Policy:** No floating outside of the ED but open to floating within all sections of the ED. - **Patient Experience Focus:** Follow AIDET principles, maintain respectful behavior, and provide excellent patient care. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
