Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring an active MA license, ACLS/BLS-AHA, TNCC, and prior travel experience.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting within a hospital
  • 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
  • Every other weekend required
  • May be required to float to Beverly campus if necessary
  • Biweekly orientation schedule

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) required
  • TNCC certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of previous travel nursing experience required
  • Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
  • Flu vaccine required during onboarding, declinations not accepted
  • COVID vaccine plus booster required, medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency care to a variety of patient presentations in a fast-paced ED environment
  • Pass/fail telemetry and medication test administered on first day, with study materials provided upon assignment confirmation
  • Failure of competency test may result in assignment termination
  • Must have a minimum 6-month break since last employment with any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility (travel, perm, or per diem)
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, and local candidates are not accepted
