Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring MA licensure, ACLS/BLS/TNCC certification, and prior telemetry and travel nursing experience.

Details

  • Emergency Department setting within a hospital
  • 12-hour night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
  • 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
  • Every other weekend required
  • May be required to float to a nearby facility (Beverly) if necessary

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
  • TNCC certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
  • Minimum 1 year of previous travel nursing experience required
  • Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips

Additional Information

  • Provide emergency nursing care within a fast-paced ED environment
  • Pass/fail telemetry and medication competency test administered on first day of assignment, with study materials provided upon assignment confirmation
  • Biweekly orientation schedule
  • Flu vaccine required during onboarding with no declinations accepted
  • COVID vaccine plus booster required, with medical exemptions allowed
  • Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, no local candidates accepted
  • Previous employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility before returning
