Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel assignment on day shift, requiring an active IL RN license and prior critical care or acute care experience.

Details

• Emergency Services department setting
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
• 13-week assignment length
• May float between ICU and Telemetry units

Requirements

• Active and valid IL RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in acute care or critical care
• CCRN certification preferred
• Skilled in cardiac strip interpretation and titration of IV drips
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Deliver safe, direct patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and guide patient and family education as well as activities of other nursing personnel
• Communicate with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, hemodynamic monitoring, and diagnostic results
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times
• COVID vaccination and boosters preferred
